Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I have been able to try another Adovia product. This time it was their Dead Sea Mud Shampoo.  Ok, I know what you are thinking probably. Mud Shampoo, I don't think so!!!  Well let me tell you, you will want to get you a bottle and use it.  I believe it will replace your current brand like it has mine!!

When I first received it I smelled it like I do with all my hair care products. I like for them to have a nice smell to them that way I know my hair will smell nice. My first thing that came to mind when I smelled it was Salon. The color is a brown mud color.

Since I had never purchased hair care products over the internet I was a little worried to say the least as to how it was going to work.  Yes, I had tried one of their other products and loved it but come on now, this is shampoo. I didn't know how thin or thick it would be, how good it would clean or anything. Well, it surprised me!  This shampoo has a nice thick and silky feel and look to it. So that was a good now for the real test - how well does it clean your hair?  It cleaned my hair very good and left it smelling very nice!  I have to use tons of conditioner on my hair otherwise it will frizz and tangle very easily. I have thick hair that does what it wants most of the time.  The first couple of times I used the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Shampoo I used my regular conditioner. I did this because I knew how my hair is and plus after using the shampoo my hair felt stripped and like it would tangle really bad. When I used my conditioner with it my hair felt softer and silkier than before. Ok, so i was going to really put it to the test by not using any conditioner with it.  Yes, I know I was taking a huge chance by doing this. I have to say I am really glad I did try it this way. I washed my hair, dried it and pulled it up without brushing it. I do wash my hair at night so I went to bed with it like this and when I got up it was half dried (remember I have thick hair).  I took my hair down and started to brush it.  I was actually able to brush my hair without any problems!!! This really amazed me as I have never been able to easily brush my hair like this when I just washed and pulled it up without conditioning it.

Once my hair dried more it was so silky and smooth.  I couldn't believe it!! I told my boyfriend to feel my hair. When he did he was like wow!! I told him what I did and he was surprised (he's always fusing about how much conditioner I use).  He even said he could see a difference in my hair, more of a shine to it and not frizzy like it usually is.  To say the least I was so very happy about his response and that is when I decided I was going to continue to use it.  I just know this would work great on my hair with the conditioner also. I will be having a review on their conditioner in the future so keep an eye out for that!

I have also used this shampoo on my dogs. I have a Yorkie and Chihuahua. Both of their coats came out like my hair did.  And get this, my Chihuahua hasn't been scratching like she normally does!! Ok, I know you really shouldn't use people shampoo on dogs but I will be using this on them also. The shampoo said nothing about using it on pets I just took it upon myself to try it.
